Nigerian music sensation, Wizkid, is ill.

He has, as a result, put off some of his international shows.

The musician who made this known on his twitter handle, @wizkidayo, urged his fans to pray for him.

He also apologized to his fans saying they should bear with him.

His tweet reads: “Sad I’m typing this but I’ll be moving dates on my tour to get my health up. I appeal to my real fans to understand and pray with me.”

Wizkid, whose real name is Ayo Balogun, had in 2016 announced that he was taking a break from some of his international shows to enable him rest.

The Bayelsa State police command has confirmed suspected armed men attack at the Kolo Police Station located in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. The attack which left a policeman dead and some injured started at a check point close to the station. According to report, the suspected militants had attacked and abducted a boat owner along Ekeremor Local Government Area of the state.
