The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, has tested positive for Coronavirus.
This is as the President, Muhammadu Buhari tested negative to the virus.
Kyari, tested positive for COVID-19 several days after returning from an official trip to Germany, one of the COVID-19 prone countries, according to reports.
Reports further said the President’s chief of staff ran the test on Sunday after he began coughing.
He had been at a COVID-19 meeting all through Sunday where he reportedly started coughing.

His result came back on Monday positive and according to reports, he has gone into self-isolation.
Following his result, President Buhari was also advised by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control to run a test which turned out negative.
Kyari had traveled to Germany where he met with officials of Siemens to discuss issues relating to the Nigerian power sector.
He did not self-isolate for 14 days as directed by the NCDC following his return. He attended last week’s FEC meeting and sat between the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and the Head of Service.
