The Coalition of INEC-accredited Observers for Governorship and State Assembly Elections has called on the Police to quickly unravel the masterminds of the Tudun Wada/Doguwa crisis in Kano State for prosecution according to the law.
The coalition also urged other security agencies to complement the Kano state Criminal Investigation Department of the Police to deal with the murderers as a deterrent.
The Secretary General of the coalition, Alhaji Ali Abacha, made the appeal while briefing journalists on the situation in Kano on Friday.

He explained that the media briefing was designed to put the record straight as an eyewitness account and also to disabuse the minds of the general public, particularly the people of Doguwa/Tudunwada.
“We observed that there were no parties identified whether APC, NNPP, PDP, LP, ADC, among others, that was responsible for the attacks that took place at Doguwa/Tudunwada during the Presidential and National Assembly Elections that took place recently,” he said.
The coalition, therefore, called on the electorate to come out en masse on Saturday to exercise their fundamental constitutional responsibility by voting their choice.
They commisserated with the bereaved families and prayed for the repose of the souls of those who lost their lives during the sad incident. (NAN)
