The State of Osun Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives and Empowerment, Dr. Bode Olaonipekun, has commended the Ukraine-Nigeria Investment Group (UNIG) over their interest to invest and develop the State.

Dr. Olaonipekun gave the commendation today while hosting the investment group in his office.

He thanked the investors for deeming it fit to invest in Osun which would go a long way to facilitate accelerated development of the
State.

The Commissioner stressed the readiness of the One-Stop-Shop which is domiciled in the Ministry, to aid the ease of doing business, as well as to serve the needs and requirements of investors.

Similarly, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives and Empowerment, Mrs Sola Ogunfolaju, assured the investors that the State is ready to provide enabling environment for development of various investments.

The leader of the group, Mr. Andriit Shchebet, expressed delight, on behalf of his members, to be privileged to contribute their quota
towards the developmental agenda of the state.

Meanwhile, the new Commissioner had earlier charged the staffers of the Ministry to be diligent and proactive towards the realization of the state development agenda.

Speaking at the maiden meeting with the Ministry’s members of staff, he urged them to put more efforts and strife hard towards improving the commercial activities of the State in line with Governor Oyetola’s vision of enhancing the economy of the State
