President Muhammadu Buhari is billed to hold a meeting with President Emmanuel Macron of France at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting which holds at 4.00 p.m. will see the two leaders discuss issues of security and terrorism.
Macron is expected to visit Lagos after the meeting with the president.
He will be hosted at the Afrika Shrine, a nightclub founded by music legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
Ahead of Macron’s visit, Lagos State government has tarred the road in front of the Afrika Shrine.
Also, in preparation for the visit, the government had announced diversion of traffic and movement restriction around Alausa and Agidingbi area of Ikeja, where the Shrine is located.
Residents of the state who live around the Shrine are looking forward to his visit.

Taiwo Akinbode in told The Next Edition: “I will be at the Shrine to see the French president. It is a good advert for this place. I grew up in this area and the Afrika Shrine is like a second home to me. For a president to visit this place is just amazing.”
One of the contractors working on the roads around the Shrine, who simply gave his name as Dauda, told The Next Edition: “We have been working since morning to ensure that this place is in order before tomorrow (Tuesday).”
The evening will feature concerts, fashion shows by leading African designers and a meeting with stars from Nigeria’s booming Nollywood film industry.
This is not the first time Macron will visit Nigeria as he had been here in the past.
He trained as a senior civil servant at the French Embassy in Lagos in 2004.
That was seven years after Fela died.
