The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has announced that there would be road diversions and vehicular restrictions on some routes as President Muhammadu Buhari visits the state today.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Odiko MacDON.

While regretting any inconveniences the action may cause the general public, the Police solicited for their corporation in making the visit hitch free.

The statement read: “The Akwa Ibom State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Mohammadu Buhari, GCFR, will today, being Monday, the 4th of March, 2019, visit Akwa Ibom State.
