The police in Lagos have detained Peter Nielsen over alleged murder of a Nigerian singer, Zainab Ali-Nielsen, popularly known as Alizee, and her four years old daughter.
Alizee is married to Nielson who is from Denmark.
The spokesman of the Lagos State command of the police, Mr. Chike Oti, who made the disclosure on Friday said investigation had commenced over the killings.
According to him, Nielsen had already been detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Lagos.

He said the police would do everything possible to get to the root of the matter.
“He has been arrested and transferred to the State CID, Panti, for thorough investigation by the Homicide Department.
“The command has also written the embassy on the suspect that the police are investigating one of their nationals,” he said.
Peter Nielsen was said to have murdered his wife, Alizee and her four-year-old daughter, Petra, at their family residence at Ocean Parade, Banana Island, on Thursday.
