The police command in Osun on Thursday announced the dates for the physical and credentials screening of successful applicants into the constable cadre of the Nigerian Police Force in the state.

This is contained in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abiodun Ojelabi, on Thursday in Osogbo.

Ojelabi said the screening is for applicants who have completed the police online recruitment registration.

He said the exercise would hold between March 9 and April 18 at the Police Headquarters, Osogbo, from 7 a.m. daily.

Ojelabi stated that applicants are required to log in to the police recruitment portal: npfapplication.psc.gov.ng to check their status.

He said successful applicants should print their invitation slips and come along with the specified documents, which they would present at the screening venue on the date and time indicated on the slip.

Ojelabi said applicants should come with the following documents: invitation slip; credentials screening form; and the original National Identity Number (NIN) printout or card issued by NIMC.

He said they should also come with “O’Level (GCE/SSCE) certificate; birth certificate or declaration of age; LGA/state of origin certificate; trade test certificate (for specialists only); and a duly completed and signed guarantor’s form, with photocopies and passport photographs of referees attached.

The PPRO further said applicants are to come with the original and duplicate copies of their credentials, neatly packaged in two separate white flat files, with recent passport photographs attached.

He advised applicants to appear at the screening venue on the date indicated on their invitation slip, wearing white canvas shoes, white T-shirts, white shorts, and white stockings.

He stressed that the screening is free.
