Pandemonium still reigns in Gbongan community in Ayedade Local Government Area of Osun State, following the shock discovery by residents of a ritualist’s den, smack in their midst.
The Next Edition learnt that a powerful stench oozing from a particular building located at Idifa, Ile-Eesu compound triggered the shock find.
Suspicious about the source of the offensive odour, residents of the rustic community raised alarm which alerted a crowd who broke into a four-room building occupied by man who was yet-to-be identified by press time.
After gaining access into the building, they were shocked to discover human parts in various stages of decomposition, including three heads and some other rotten human parts.
The development came barely 13 days after a 38-year old man, Ajibade Rasheed, was arrested by Police in Osogbo, with fresh human head, two palms, intestine and other body parts.
However, the suspected ritualist, who is occupant of the building in Gbongan was eventually apprehended and handed over to the Police.
The Osun State Police Command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs Folasade Odoro, confirmed the incident, adding that investigation was ongoing into the incident to arrest culprits who reportedly fled after the discovery of the ritualist’s den.
