Nollywood veteran, Chiwetalu Agu, has been reportedly rearrested by men of the Department of State Service (DSS).

This came just hours after he was released by the Nigerian Army on the afternoon of Friday, October 8, 2021.

The Actors Guild of Nigeria has confirmed to some media houses that the veteran actor was re-arrested by men of the Department of State Services.

According to one of his colleagues in a post shared via Facebook on Friday, October 8, 2021, the actor is now in the custody of the DSS.

“Chiwetalu Agu is still not free. He is with DSS now. Colleagues say they are looking for a top lawyer to bail him,” he wrote.
