The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted cloudy weather and localised rains over the Central states, especially Abuja, Jalingo and Minna on Wednesday morning.
The agency’s Weather Outlook released by its Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Tuesday, in Abuja, also predicted day and night temperatures of 21 degrees Celsius to 29 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius to 24 degrees Celsius.
It added that there would be prospects of localised rain over Jos, Kaduna, Abuja, Lokoja and Yola, Bauchi in the afternoon and evening period.

It predicted that Southern states would experience localised rain over Yenagoa, Calabar and Port Harcourt during the morning hours.
The agency also predicted localised rain over Enugu, Akure, Ado-Ekiti, Abakaliki and Oshogbo in the afternoon and evening hours with day and night temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius to 29 degrees Celsius and 21 degrees Celsius to 23 degrees Celsius.
According to it, Northern states will experience cloudy morning with localised thunderstorm over Kano, Katsina and Maiduguri in the afternoon and evening period.
“The region will also have day and night temperatures in the range of 28 degrees Celsius to 33 degrees Celsius and 21 degrees Celsius to 25 degrees Celsius, respectively.
“Influx of moisture and appreciable energy availability is expected to give rise to cloudy condition and rains over some cities across the country in the next 24 hours,” NiMet predicted.
