Nigerians from all walks of life have continued to mourn the death of Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh.

Ada, known for her role as Emu in the popular TV series, Johnson’s Family, reportedly died on Sunday at a hospital in Warri, Delta State.

Her death came barely two years after she lost her only child.

While many of her colleagues have described her death as a huge loss to the entertainment industry, many others, particularly, those from Benue say her death is a loss to Idoma nation, Benue State and Nigeria at large.

Most of her colleagues have also taken to their social media, Instagram, Facebook pages, to pen down emotional messages on her timeline.

Nollywood big boy, Mr. Richard Mofe-Damijo, said her death is a reminder how fragile humans are on earth.

“It’s been from one heart-wrenching news to another today as Nollywood loses two of its finest actresses today. My path crossed with these actresses. Each death reminds me of how really fragile we all are. May the soul of the dearly departed rest in peace.”

Another nollywood actor, Chioma Toplis said, “Rest in peace Ada Ameh, Your memory will live on.”

Yul Edochie said “But in all, we submit to the will of God. Rest well.”

Stephanie Linus said “This is really sad and painful. What a joyful soul. Ada, may your soul rest in peace.”

Akume Akume said, “Ada, I still tried calling you as promised. Now, I agree life is feeble. This thing called death. Rest Ada rest. Good night, eyen ekami.”

On her facebook page, a fan, Tessy Peace said “Unfortunately you didn’t live to see a better Nigeria. I remember all the times you came out in tears to speak against the ills going on in our dear country.

“You were in deed a heroine. May your desires for a new and better Nigeria come to pass in Jesus Name. Sleep on Ada, sleep on. May light perpetually shine on your soul.

They all prayed for the repose of her soul and prayed God to console her family members.
