Popular Netflix show, Squid Game, will be returning for a highly anticipated second season.
The show’s creator, Hwang Dong-hyuk, has confirmed in a recent interview that the second season is in its planning stage.
He said “There’s been so much pressure, so much demand and so much love for a second season.”
“So I almost feel like you leave us no choice! But I will say there will indeed be a second season.”

The show is a nine-episode thriller series directed by Hwang which premiered on September 17.
The series is about contestants who are in serious need of money playing deadly children’s games to win cash prizes.
It became an instant hit and in weeks, it had shattered a record as the most-watched series in Netflix’s history with over 100 million worldwide views.
