NANS To Honour CPS Akase Over Commitment To Duty, Support For Youths

In recognition of his hard work and commitment to duty, National Association of Nigerian Students, (NANS), has said they will present to Chief Press Secretary to Benue State Governor, Mr Terver Akase an award of excellence.

In a nomination letter jointly signed by the Chairman, NANS Award Committee, Comrade Felix Attah and Comrade Ngozi Okoli, the umbrella body of Nigerian students, said Mr. Akase was chosen for the honour which is tagged ‘NANS Public Service Merit Award’.

The letter said his selection was based on his outstanding style of information dissemination among other qualities.

The letter stated that the decision for Akase’s nomination was taken during NANS extraordinary congress which took place at the University of Abuja.

It further noted that Governor Ortom’s Chief Press Secretary has also been found to be very efficient in the performance of his administrative duties, service to humanity and has been a passionate supporter of youths.

The letter stated that as part of the presentation ceremony, Mr. Akase would be inducted into NANS Hall of Fame.

A six-man delegation led by the Chairman of the NANS Award Committee, Comrade Attah, will on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, confer the honour on Mr. Akase in Makurdi.
