The Managing Director of First Nation Airlines, Mr. Kayode Odukoya, has been ordered to be remanded by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The order was given by Justice Mojisola Dada of the Ikeja Special Offences Court on Friday.
Odukoya is standing trial over alleged theft of N1.7 billion.
The four-count-charge against him borders on forgery, use of false document, perjury and stealing.
He has however pleaded not guilty.
During the trial, EFCC prosecutor, M. S. Usman, asked for Odukoya to be remanded before the next trial date.
He argued that Odukoya had frustrated his arraignment on three different occasions.
The anti-graft body had alleged that he forged the memorandum of loss of Lagos State Certificate of Occupancy registered as No. 33 at page 33 volume 1011 at the Lagos State Land Registry, Alausa, Lagos, so the document could be regarded as genuine.
The EFCC said the document had to do with a property property located at 29, Oduduwa St., Ikeja G.R.A., Lagos.’

He was said to have used the fake document in respect of the loss of the certificate of occupancy at the Lagos State Land Registry.
The EFCC said he also gave false information on oath.
He was also accused of stealing and converting to his own use N1.7 billion belonging to Skye Bank.
Counsel to Odukoya, John Odugbela, told the court that he had already filed an application for the bail of his client, and had been served on the prosecution.
The case has been adjourned till March 26, for the hearing of the bail application.
