Former President Goodluck Jonathan and former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, were absent in court on Wednesday to testify in the case of financial misappropriation of N400 million against Olisa Metuh.
Metu was the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He is currently in court over alleged financial malpractices against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
He had sought the leave of the court to enable Jonathan and Dasuki testify in his case alleging that they were principal actors.
However, despite the court summon, the men were not in court.
On Tuesday, the court registrar had indicated that Jonathan was yet to be served with the subpoena by the court officials.
As for Dasuki, he is in the custody of the State Security Service and no query was issued on his absence.

It would be recalled that following the granting of the request of Metuh to allow the two principal actors to serve as witness, the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, presided over by Justice Okon Abang summoned both Jonathan and Dasuki.
Justice Abang declared that the ex-president was mandated by the decision of the appellate court to appear before him (Abang) to testify in the criminal suit.
Although he said that Jonathan had not been served the notice, according to him, once there was evidence that he had been served notice of the invitation, the former president must appear.
Also expected to appear in court, according to the judge, was the former National Security Adviser (NSA).
He is also to appear as a defendant witness.
The judge said that Jonathan and Dasuki were issued subpoena by the court on the order of the Appeal Court to act as defendant’s witnesses to Metuh.
