An Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos on Friday ordered that one 28-year-old Peter Iboroakam be remanded in a correctional centre for allegedly defiling a teenager.
The police charged Iboroakam with defilement.
Chief Magistrate F.M. Kayode ordered that the defendant be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre.
She adjourned the case until Feb. 28 to enable the police to file the case in as a court of appropriate jurisdiction.

Earlier, the prosecutor, Insp Kehinde Olatunde, told the court that the suspect committed the offence on Jan. 20, at No. 16, Oloto St., Ebute Meta.
He alleged that Iboroakam had oral sex with a 14-year-old, by inserting his penis into her mouth.
According to Olatunde, the offence contravenes Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. (NAN)
