Yesterday, popular celebrity blogger, Linda Ikeji, announced with pictures that she was five months pregnant. The news trended on virtually every platform with almost everyone sending congratulatory messages.

No one was surprised because it is expected of a woman.

What perhaps shocked majority, including her fans, was that Linda had been known to promote celibacy in the past.

The question now is: When did she have a change of heart? Some of her fans also raised the issue not because they wanted a response, but just to be sure that the news was authentic. How is it that she was celibate and now pregnant?

Another issue many have pondered over is that her engagement was announced March 28, 2018, on Laura’s instagram’s page. Laura is Linda’s sister. But in May, she’s announcing a five-month pregnancy.

If she got engaged in March but is now five months pregnant, would it not be right to conclude that the proposal was triggered by the pregnancy?

She got pregnant in January and was proposed to in March by an ex-boyfriend we are yet to see.

That’s some calculation! Is anybody beating beautiful Linda to her game?

As usual social media has been full of activities and Nigerian Twitter has been at it’s finest. A reaction from one of her admirers says:

@greatgracious – “Linda Ikeji was pregnant, we didn’t know until now. What if she’s already married and we don’t know until later.”

One has to admit that this could be another angle as well.

Also, @bhadoosky, Bhadmus Hakeem says, “Give it to Linda Ikeji. She’s the Queen of making people to see/hear only what she wants them to see/hear about her personal life.” Well said. Is it true or false? Only time will tell.

This is so true as there was no speculation that she was dating till the engagement.

Also, there were no pregnancy pictures till she released them thereby giving approval to her family members to do so as well.

This is, however, wishing her well in everything.

This is just trying to get facts correct and get the maths to add up. The fact remains she has a baby due September or October.

Many would wait to see if this will be a long engagement or maybe the world will wake up to hear she was already married.

Whatever happens, there is no doubt that the baby is going to be one pampered one. Like she said, Ashad Khaled will have nothing on her son!

Congratulations to Linda.
