The Kaduna State Government has cautioned civil servants in the state against participating in the planned nationwide strike action slated to commence today, Monday, Sept. 28.
The government said it has no outstanding issues with the civil servants, hence they have no reason to abandon their duty posts.
The state’s Head of Service, Head of Service, Mrs. Bariatu Mohammed, who stated government’s position, in a statement on Sunday, maintained: “We have no outstanding issues with workers to warrant a strike. Our workers should be at work tomorrow.”

Organised labour, has called on all workers across the country to embark on a nationwide strike beginning with street protests today, Monday, Sept.28.
Meanwhile, the Kaduna state Head of Service said that the leadership of the labour unions in the state have been duly informed of the position of the state government.
“Consequently, I wish to strongly advise civil servants in the state to refrain from participating in the conceived strike action; failure to adhere to this advice shall force government to invoke the `no-work no-pay’ policy,’’ the statement warned.
Mohammed assured the civil servants of a conducive working environment, saying that no one would be restrained from having access to his or her office.
She advised heads of ministries, departments and agencies of government to bring the notice to the attention of staff for strict compliance.
