Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has tested negative to the coronavirus disease.
The Vice President had gone into self-isolation after interacting with individuals who tested positive to the virus.
A tweet by Senator Babafemi Ojudu, Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters disclosed the Vice President’s results have returned negative.
“Vice President Yemi Osinbajo tested negative,” he tweeted on Wednesday morning.

Recall that Mr. Laolu Akande, Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Vice President had on Tuesday disclosed that Prof. Osinbajo has begun social distancing and self-isolation.
Nigeria currently has a total of 46 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
