The son of President Muhammadu Buhari, Yusuf, was involved in a bike accident on Tuesday and is at present in the hospital receiving treatment.
The accident which was confirmed in a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, occurred around Gwarimpa area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Tuesday.

He was reported to have broken a limb and had an injury to the head as a result of the accident.
Shehu said he had undergone surgery at a clinic in Abuja and his condition stable.
“The President and his wife, Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, are thankful to Nigerians for the good wishes and prayers for their son,” Shehu added.
