If after tying the nuptials, you discover that your husband is impotent or can’t perform his marital obligations, what would you do?

It’s widely believed that full disclosure before marriage is the right way to start a relationship that is meant to be forever. This, however, is not usually the case. Some people lie to secure a relationship only for it to explode later before their partners.

When it comes to the issue of potency, some men deliberately rope some women into marriage or a relationship when they know they can’t perform in that area. It’s the same thing for ill health, people don’t disclose their health status before getting into a relationship.

The Next Edition has asked a few women what they would do if they discovered such a huge secret after marriage. Excerpts are presented here:

Blessing Sunday, Hair Stylist
“I don’t know. We will go to the hospital to check if it would affect child bearing. As for sex, it’s not going to be easy sha o”

Linda Anyanwu, Business owner
“If he told me before we got married that would be a different thing. But for me to just discover after marriage, na fight o. We will have to go our separate ways because he can’t give me what I want.”

Michelle Anyanwu, Corper
“I have to kill him first, why can he not tell me? It’s very serious. If there’s a solution, we will look for it.”

Imelda Daniel, Lab Scienctist
“I have to leave there quickly o! What am I doing there?”

Stella Alfred, Fashion Designer
“The fact that I was not aware before marriage, I will divorce him. Straight up, cash out.”

Tracy Udoh, Engineer
“Well for me, I won’t jump to divorce. I feel it can be corrected. If it can’t I don’t know what I will do.”

Charis Akpabio, Pharmacologist
“First of all, I would be so mad and I would need my space for sometime. After we would look for a solution – If he would not want to go to seek medical solution then we would have to divorce.”

What would you do if you found yourself in this situation? Let’s have your comments below.
