A meeting of governors of the states of the federation and Speakers of State Houses of Assembly is going on at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The Chairman of the Nigerian’s Governors’ Forum and Governor of Zamfara State, Abdulaziz Yari, is presiding over the meeting.

Although details of the meeting are yet to be known, it is suspected to be in connection with the governors’ approval of the $1 billion from the excess crude account to fight insurgency.
It would be recalled that the approval which was announced last week has been greeted with criticism.
