Recall that the NWC of the APC had earlier suspended governors Ibikunle Amosun and Rochas Okorocha for anti-party activities, and promised to also query Governor Akeredolu at a later date for his open anti-party activities, which robbed off badly on the party’s candidates in the Feb 23, 2019, Presidential and National Assembly elections in the state.
Reacting to an inquiry by the Independent newspaper on Saturday: Gov. Akeredolu, in a terse SMS said: “I have not received any letter be it query or suspension. Thanks”.
