Professor Kolapo Olusola Eleka has promised to focus on agriculture to improve the economy of Ekiti State and change the lives of the people for the better.
Eleka who is a governorship aspirant in Ekiti State on the platform of the People Democratic Party (PDP), made the promise when he addressed his supporters at a rally.
According to him, a good agricultural policy would improve the lives of the people of the state.
He emphasized that agriculture if well explored would yield good dividend.
He said if elected, he would come up with an agricultural police – Agricultural Revolution.

The efforts in the agricultural sector, he said, would include the opening up of the rural areas for vibrant economic activities that would improve the quality of lives of Ekiti people.
“The overall aim will be to empower the people economically while engendering socio-economic development of the state…
“Companies, both local and foreign, willing to invest in agriculture in the state, would be encouraged to do so and our internally generated revenue would soar for the overall betterment and development of our dear state,” he said.
