Princess Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, has called on Nigerian women to support one another to enable them become a powerful force in the society.
Her Royal Highness made call while addressing stakeholders of the ‘Women of the World Festival’ on Tuesday in Abuja.
Prince Charles (Prince of Wales) and Princess Camilla, (Duchess of Cornwall) arrived Nigeria on Tuesday on a three-day visit to some Commonwealth states in Africa.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that The Women of the World Festival (WOW) is a festival that celebrates the achievements of women and girls, as well as looking at the obstacles they face across the world.
It also seeks to inspire new generations of young women and girls.
According to the Duchess, women will be able to achieve more when they partner with the sole purpose of making a difference.

“I will like to commend the initiator of the women to the world festival and I am impressed with the progress of the event so far in different parts of the world.
“I believe that Nigerian women can also make a difference when they support one another.
“It will gladden my heart to hear positive report about women making exploits in their various endeavours when next I visit Nigeria,” she said.
Founder, Women of the World Foundation, Ms Jude Kelly, added that women had the right to see themselves as humans with great potentials who were entitled to reach their goals.
She noted that the foundation would be organising a festival in Nigeria in 2019 where women from different works of life would gather and brainstorm on how to improve themselves and other women in the country.
