Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido has fulfilled his promise of donating 250 million Naira raised during his birthday last year to orphanages across Nigeria.
In a statement released on Twitter on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, the singer thanked the members of committee who worked hard to get the job done.
He also revealed that the money was distributed to 292 orphanages. The singer attached the list of the orphanages and locations.
Part of his statement reads, “As promised, a five-man disbursement committee was set up. Since its inauguration, the members of the committee have worked tirelessly to ensure that they collate the names and information of the documented and verified orphanages.”

It would be recalled that the music star raised N200 million after sharing his account details on social media during his birthday in 2021.
He added another N50 million and vowed to donate the money to orphanages across the country.
