The anniversary is meant to thank friends and well-wishers who have stood by them all year round.
Committee of Friends For Humanity (COFFHA), group of successful professional women has concluded plans to hold its 25th years of touching lives and services to humanity.
Speaking at a press briefing in Lagos recently to herald the event, President of COFFHA, Mrs. Ufere Carolyn Akum said the celebration is necessary as it will afford the members opportunity to appreciate those who have stood by them these years.
Mrs. Akum said ‘’They are the people we have been running to these past years soliciting for their help and seeking for their support.

‘’Our patrons, our benefactors, our friends and most importantly, our husbands who have been our greatest supporters and pillars. We thought if we have been together, for twenty five years, it is good for us to also call people to share our joy with us that we are celebrating twenty five years of being together as a group,’’ she added.
She also said that the event, which is scheduled to take place on November 19, 2017, at Bay Lounge, Lekki in Lagos will feature a musical concert.
Other activities marking the celebration include the organisation’s visit to some orphanages in Lagos, according to the President.
The President said some the achievements of the organisation since its establishment, include building of COFFHA Emergency Center at the Isolo General Hospital, Lagos ; refurbishment and furnishing of a 16-bed female ward and provision of a generating set at the Apapa Health Centre; donation of kidney dialysis machine at the Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos, among others.
