Nigerian musician, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, on Tuesday appeared on ‘The Daily Show’ hosted by South African comedian Trevor Noah to promote his latest album ‘African Giant’.

The Daily Show is an American late night talk and news television programme, which draws comedy and satire from recent news stories, political figures, etc.

The show also plays host to politicians and activists who come on to talk discuss recent events in their fields.

Artists, Actors and others also come on the show to promote their recent work.

Responding to questions from Noah, Burna Boy, gave insight on the Coachella fiasco in April and how that inspired the name of his album.

“Basically I’m on the toilet seat and my mum called me and said I’ll be doing Coachella. I was like that’s nice. I went on the gram and I see the thing and I’m looking for my name and I can’t find my name.”

The singer went on to say his team had to circle his name in the line up before he could find it.

Recall that in January 2019, the ‘Dangote’ singer called out Coachella for putting his name in small fonts in the official image lineup that was shared.

“That’s something that’s never happened to me before. I’m used to being the African Giant. I was like what’s this, I don’t like this.”

He stressed that his name should have been included with the same font size as the ones Coachella used for the Latin artists.

Bruna Boy still performed at Coachella after making his displeasure known.

The musician also performed his hit ‘Ye’ and ‘Anybody’ from the new album on The Daily Show.
