Burna Boy, Mr Eazi Shortlisted To Perform At Coachella 2019

Nigerian Musicians,  Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy and Oluwatosin Ajibade best known as Mr Eazi have been shortlisted to perform at the world’s biggest music festival, Coachella from April 12 – 19, 2019. Ayo Balogun popularly known as Wizkid was the first Nigerian shortlisted to perform on this show last year, but he was however unable to make it.

The 2017 edition was attended by 250,000 people and grossed $114.6 million. Beyoncé, the Weeknd, and Eminem were the headlining acts for Coachella 2018.

The annual California festival announced its complete lineup on Wednesday night, January 2, 2018 with Childish Gambino and Ariana Grande along with the likes of Diplo, Tame Impala and Khalid slated to play the weekend’s top slot.

The festival’s full lineup includes Solange, the 1975, Janelle Monáe, Weezer, Anderson .Paak, Kacey Musgraves, SOPHIE, Four Tet, Mac DeMarco, Blood Orange, Pusha-T, and many more.

The first weekend of Coachella 2019 will take place from April 12 to 14, 2019. while the second weekend will run from April 19 through April 21, 2019. The festival will return to the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Mr Eazi will perform on the second week while Burna Boy is listed to perform the following weekend.
