Anthony Joshua has defeated Alexander Povetkin of Russia to retain his International Boxing Federation, World Boxing Association and World Boxing Organisation heavyweight titles.
He defeated Povetkin in the seventh-round during the bout which was held at Wembley Stadium in London on on Saturday.
With the victory, Joshua has extended his unbeaten professional record to 22 wins from 22 fights.

21 of the fights ended in knockouts.
“First and foremost Wembley, thank you so much.
“Povetkin is a very tough challenger. He proved that with good left hooks, counter punches. I realised he was strong to the head but weak to the body. Every jab slowed him down. These shorter guys are very strong coming through the middle but tonight’s out the way,” Joshua said after the bout.
