‘The Return of Arinzo’ and ‘The Other Side of the Bridge’ have posted strong box office results, underlining renewed momentum in Nigeria’s cinema industry.

FilmOne Entertainment said ‘The Return of Arinzo’ had grossed N311.5 million and counting, topping the box office for four consecutive weekends across West Africa.

The distributor thanked audiences for sustained support, noting the film’s run reflected growing patronage of locally produced content.

“’The Return of Arinzo’ maintains its spot as the number one film for four consecutive weekends.

“Thank you West Africa for showing up and showing out, your love is taking this film higher and higher,” the company said.

‘The Other Side of the Bridge’ also delivered a solid performance, earning N27.7 million in its second week in cinemas.

The film remains among the top-performing Nollywood titles currently screening nationwide.

FilmOne said the movie’s success highlighted audience connection with its themes of grit, resilience and everyday Lagos realities.

“’The Other Side of The Bridge’ isn’t just holding its ground, you are pushing it further.

“From Mainland to Island, the love, the energy, the turnout is all showing and thank you for getting in the ring with us. We are not done yet,” FilmOne said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports both films are still in cinemas, with stakeholders optimistic their success will boost investor confidence and industry growth.

Nollywood continues to record rising box office revenues, driven by improved production quality, strategic distribution and stronger audience engagement.
