When a relationship gets sour, both parties for a little while spend time reminiscing on what went wrong. They may get back together sometimes or not. But what happens when during this period one partner moves on with another person? How do you react when that happens?

The Next Edition spoke to some people and here are their opinions.

Richard Odogwu, Lawyer

“It has happened to me before. I wasn’t angry that she met someone else at least she was decent enough to tell me that she’s breaking up with me to be with someone else. I was just heart-broken. After six months, we got back together and then after three months she got married to someone entirely different.”

Peace Akpan, Entrepreneur

“I’d rather be sad, I’d feel you never really loved me anyway. Because if you really did, the shock from the break-up would be sustained for a while.”

Andy Samuel, Business man

“Never. The sooner the better. I don’t know why though.”

Victoria Ogbeide, Fashion Mogul

“It depends..if I broke up with him I won’t be angry. Even if I haven’t moved on, I don’t think I would. It also depends on what led to the break up.”

Ekomobong Essien, Entrepreneur

“Yes na! It’s as if I meant nothing to him.

He won’t even give himself time to even heal?”

Franca Adelola, Makeup Artist

“If I broke up with him it must have been with good reason so I won’t mind. If he broke up with me and he moves on that fast, there’s problem o! I won’t say anything but I won’t like it one bit!”

Olabode Thomas, DJ

“Girls don’t really move on that fast. I don’t think I would mind. I wish all my “exes” the best so she can go ahead”

Peter Edojah, Engineer

“Move on like get another boyfriend or mess around with someone else? Another boyfriend I would mind. In fact, I would mind both. It’s disrespectful.”

Adanna Ikeduru, Microbiologist

“In this days of plan B and C and so on, as we break up, I’m moving on like that. I can’t come and kill myself. I wouldn’t be mad if he does cause it’s exactly the same thing I would have done.”

Would you be angry if your ex moved on in a time you felt was too fast? Let us know in the comment box.
