A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has reaffirmed Victor Giadom as the acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to the new rulings, Mustapha Salihu, who is the National Vice-Chairman, North-East, has become the Acting National Secretary of the party.
The new development came on Thursday as a result of ex parte motions filed by Mustapha Salihu.
The Next Edition reports that since Wednesday following the Appeal Court’s approval of the suspension of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole from the party and office, the ruling party has remained in shambles over the vacant position created by his exit.

In Thursday’s judgment, Samira U. Bature, the judge, held that his ruling would subsist pending the time National Executive Committee (NEC) would convene and take a decision.
According to the document, ex parte orders would subsist for only two weeks but could be renewed.
In the ex parte application dated June 18 and argued by Giadom’s lawyer, Mr. Wole Afolabi, the plaintiff prayed the court to extend its order of March 16, 2020, which had granted Giadom permission to act as Acting National Chairman of the APC for a period of two weeks.
The court also restrained the APC or any other member of the party from disturbing him from functioning as the party’s Acting National Chairman.
