The plan by the opposition coalition CUPP to defeat President Buhari at the 2019 Polls received a major boost today when Nine Political Parties joined the already existing 44 parties in the coalition with the historic signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Nine new parties and the CUPP (Coalition of United Political Parties)
The event held today 17th December 2018 at Shehu Musa Yaradua Centre Abuja.

The New parties which where received into the coalition by the chairman of the CUPP Steering Committee, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola pledged their support and commitment to ensuring that the opposition coalition consensus candidate Atiku Abubakar who is the candidate of the PDP defeats President Buhari at the next year Presidential Polls.

The parties that signed the Coalition deal today are:
United Patriot(UP), Save Nigeria Congress(SNC), Peoples Coalition Party (PCP), Reform and Advancement Party(RAP), Alliance of Social  Democrats (ASD), We The People of Nigeria (WTPN), Change Party (CP), New Generation Party(NGP), Alliance National Party (ANP)
