Nigerian Senators-elect have arrived at the red chamber of the National Assembly for inauguration Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
Godswill Akpabio, Jibrin Barau and colleagues were captured arriving in groups for the epoch-making event.
They were seen wearing sashes with the inscription “I Stand With Akpabio/Barau,” indicative of their support for the duo.
The 10th Assembly will kick off after the inauguration.
