Winners have emerged in The Dusty Manuscript, a writing contest sponsored by GTBank in partnership with Kachifo Publishing Ltd and Okada Books.
The contest is to promote creativity, especially in the area of writing.
The winners were announced on Wednesday at a special event held at the headquarters of the GTBank in Lagos.
The winners are Kukogho Samson who came first with his work, Devil’s Pawn.
He went home with N1 million and a publishing contract with Kachifo Publishing Ltd.

Onoche Emeka came second with The Orchid Protocol and went home with N500,000 while Miss Nneoma Anieto came third with her manuscript The Other Side of Truth and went home with N250,000.
The cheques were presented to the winners by the Managing Director of GTBank, Mr. Segun Agbaje, who congratulated each winner and wished them luck.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr Samson who came first in the contest expressed gratitude over the initiative.
His words: “It’s amazing to me because it’s an old book. I finished it in 2010 and kept it aside. It is really a Dusty Manuscript. I do more on poetry now and just brought it out for this competition. For a bank to promote books and unpublished authors, it is really wonderful and I’m grateful.“
