The Government of Osun State has announced that it has received the second tranche of the Paris Club refunds.
The refunds totalling N6.314 billion, according to a statement by Semiu Okanlawon, Director, Bureau of Communication & Strategy, Office of the Governor of the State of Osun, was paid into the state coffers on Monday.
The government promised that the money would be judiciously used in the interest of the people of the state.
The statement reads in part: “In line with our government’s promise to utilise the resources of this state in the best interest of our people, we hereby restate our commitment to this promise as we begin shortly transparent deployment on our commitments to the concerned stakeholders.”
