The Rivers State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will on Sunday, hold a thanksgiving service for the successful national convention and presidential primary of the party.
The events were held in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, last weekend.
The state’s PDP chairman, Felix Obuah, who disclosed this in a statement, attributed the historic success of the PDP national convention and presidential primary to God, and the ingenuity of Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike as the chief host.

According to the state PDP boss, the thanksgiving service would take place at Government House Field, Port Harcourt, at 12 noon on Sunday.
He enjoined all members of the PDP in the state to attend the event.
