Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has been appointed to the Director – General of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential campaign for the 2019 election.
A statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan, said the appointment was made by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
It also announced the appointment of Zonal Coordinators for the campaign. They are: Gov. Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, for the North-West; Gov. Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State, for the North-East; and Gov. Samuel Ortom of Benue, for North-Central.

of Rivers, South-South; former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, for the South-West; and Gov. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi as the Zonal Coordinator, South-East.
Furthermore, the statement gave the names of former Minister of Special Duties, Tanimu Turaki, as the Chairman, Legal Matters and Gov. Emmanuel Udom of Akwa-Ibom as the Chairman, Fund Raising Committee.
According to Ologbondiyan, further announcements regarding the composition and structure of the PDP Presidential campaign would be made by the NWC in due course.
