Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom, has on behalf of the Government and people of Benue State, expressed heartfelt condolences to President Muhammadu Buhari over the death of his Chief of Staff, Mallam Abba Kyari.
The late Abba Kyari had tested positive for the Coronavirus and was receiving treatment in a Lagos hospital until his death on the Friday, April 17, 2020.

The Governor in a press statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase said the demise of a loved one such as a trusted aide can be devastating.
He described death as inevitable end for which mankind must prepare at all times.
Gov. Ortom extended his sympathies to the Kyari family and prayed that God may grant the deceased eternal rest.
