Kwara State has recorded five more COVID-19 cases, even as it discharged eight patients, who tested negative twice to the virus.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor and Spokesman of the Technical Committee on COVID-19, Rafiu Ajakaye, stated this in Ilorin on Sunday in a statement.

In the short statement, he said the new cases have brought to 132 the total number of confirmed cases in the state with 52 patients discharged and one dead.
“As at 7:30p.m on Sunday, the number of active cases is 79 and 52 patients had so far been discharged and one death recorded,” said Ajakaye.
