The Police on Friday paraded a suspected serial killer, Adeola Williams, and the immediate past chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Akanni Rafiu, on Friday.
Paraded at the Lagos State Police headquarters, they were both arrested by operatives of the Inspector-General of Police intelligence response team on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.
The arrest was made in the course of investigation into the killing of one Ganiyu Ayinla (Pinero), the personal assistant to the NURTW chairman in Idumota, Azeez Lawal, known also as ‘Kunle Poly.’
Popularly referred to as “Ade Lawyer,” the suspect confessed to killing many people on the instruction of Rafiu.

Confessing that he had at different occasions killed on the instruction of Rafiu, “Ade Lawyer” alleged that Rafiu contacted him to kill Kunle Poly for a fee of N1.5 million.
However, the plot did not go as planned as the personal assistant and not Kunle Poly was eliminated.
The offence of Kunle Poly, he said, was that he betrayed Rafiu.
Said he: “I carried out four killings for him (Rafiu). During the clash between him and Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), I killed two people for him. He said Kunle Poly betrayed him and contracted me to kill him.”
The suspect also confessed that he had been hired to kill several people, traditional ruler inclusive.
