Former Governor of Osun state, Rauf Aregbesola, on Monday said he would bring 39 years of post qualification experience in Engineering, management and resilience to bear in whatever portfolio assigned to him, if confirmed as minister.
Aregbesola, who was the fourth nominee to be screened on Monday said he was ready to work.
Asked by the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, to throw more light on his pedigree, Aregbesola began with a short Islamic recitation, which he later explained to be an adoration to the Almighty.
Thereafter, he proceeded to recognize some of the Senators in chamber.
Explaining more on his rise in the political ladder, he said he was propelled into national recognition by Lagos State.
He therefore, thanked Bola Tinubu, who as governor of Lagos State gave him the opportunity to work with him.
He also expressed gratitude to President Muhammadu Buhari for nominating him, saying he would be eternally grateful.
