BREAKING: I am guilty of kidnapping, Evans tells court

Popular suspected kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, otherwise known as Evans, on Wednesday pleaded that he was guilty of charges of kidnapping against him.

Evans made the plea when he was arraigned before an Ikeja High Court in Lagos along five others.

The charges against Evans and others border on conspiracy and kidnapping.

The court adjourned till October 19  for further hearing of the case.

Meanwhile, the judge ordered that the suspects be remanded in Kirikiri Maximum Prison.

Evans was arrested on June 10, 2017 at his Magodo residence by policemen.

The police had been on his trail for not less than three years.
