President Bola Tinubu has approved N70,000 minimum wage for Nigerian workers, promising to review the national minimum wage law every three years.
This was announced by Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation, at the end of the meeting with labour at the State House in Abuja on Thursday.
The FG and organised labour reached an agreement on N70,000 as Nigeria’s new minimum wage.
This brings to an a long process of negotiations between the Federal Government and the organised labour.
