A wonder strike from Philippe Countinho in the first half put Brazil ahead in the the game.
In the second half, Switzerland came out very fierce, attacking Brazil.
They worked very hard to fight their way back and got the equalizer through Zuber’s header a few minutes into the second half.
It was a brilliant goal and a brilliant header by Zuber.
The Brazilians protested that there was an infringement in the box 18 before the goal.
They argued that Zuber pushed Miranada, a Brazilian defender before scoring.
Brazil had 21 shots.
Only four were on target.
Switzerland on the other hand had shots and two on target in the entire game.
This draw puts Serbia ahead of Brazil and Switzerland as they defeated Costa Rica earlier today.
Neymar who is Brazil’s main man was not given the room to operate freely.
He tried his best but Switzerland closed him down quickly to nullify his threat.
There were penalty claims in the match by the Brazilians but the match officials were having none of that.
Brazil now have to put this behind them and focus on their next game which is against Costa Rica.
Brazil are very good when they come against teams from South America.
