Veteran Fuji musician, Adewale Ayuba, has disclosed that he came to Lagos with two pairs of trousers and a pair of shoes.
Ayuba stated this Friday, while addressing a press conference organized by the Lagos State government on plans to host this year’s ‘One Lagos Fiesta.’
The famous Fuji musician who would be one of the artistes performing at the seven-day event, spoke about his love for Lagos, saying “In Lagos, you can become whatever you choose to be. This is where dreams come true. Irrespective of your ethnic or religious background, you will succeed in Lagos if you are determined. Lagos provides a level playing field because it belongs to everyone.”
The ‘It’s bubbling’ crooner composed a song especially for ‘One Lagos Fiesta,’ which was played at the event.
Speaking about the song, titled ‘My Lagos’ he said, “That was why I sang my Lagos. I want everyone to know what this city has done for me. That song is my Lagos story. I came to Lagos with just two pairs of trousers and one shoe. But today, I know where I am. I know the things I have achieved.”
