The Army continued its cordon and search operation in Maiduguri on Friday with a new drive.
In the operation, it searched some houses, including one believed to be occupied by UN officials.
The extension of the search to the house was in view of the new method adopted by Boko Haram terrorists in carrying out attacks.
The spokesman of Operation Lafiya Dole, Lt.-Col. Kingsley Samuel, who issued a statement on Friday on the exercise explained that the UN building did not have any sign to show its ownership or occupants.

According to him, no arrest was made of the occupants.
The statement reads: “In the last one week, cordon and search operations were conducted in Jiddari –Polo, Muna Garage, and Jakana among other areas.
“On August 10, Theatre Command received information from one of its credible sources that some high value Boko Haram Terrorists suspects had infiltrated into Pompomari Bye Pass.
“It therefore became expedient to take preemptive action by combing the general area through a cordon and search operations.
“The operation was successfully conducted as more than 30 houses were searched.
“One of such included a property which was said to be occupied by United Nations Staff, although the property did not carry a UN designation.
“On the whole, operation in the general area was successfully concluded but no arrest was made because the suspects were not found in the general public that these operations are being conducted to safeguard lives and properties but not targeted at any individual or group.
“The general public is cautioned to avoid peddling rumours which may cause disaffection and to remain law abiding,’’ he said.
