The Osun State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja has declared the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate in the 2018 governorship election in the state, Ademola Adeleke winner.
It held that the All Progressives Congress and its candidate, Gboyega Oyetola, were not validly returned.

The tribunal held that the Certificate of Return issued to Gboyega Oyetola be withdrawn and a fresh one issued to Senator Ademola Adeleke of the People Democratic Party.
